Caller Tune

I cannot understand the concept of the caller tune. Okay so its your favorite song, but you cant even hear it, so whats the point ?
Sometimes the thought of calling someone just reminds you of the song that you will have to hear.
And some songs don`t suit a personality, like your old uncle has a song, "chaudavin a chand ko ya afatab ho.. jo bhi ho tum khuda ki kasam lajawab ho" OR your boss has a bizarre song, that just does not suit his personality like maybe Smack that by Akon.. I mean PLEASE !!!
And I sometimes dread calling a person,
Ok.. so besides that ??
I think it is very irritating !!!
